First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of the extension. From what you are reporting, I think you are using an old version of the extension (the latest one is 2.7.0) .
1) No Admin confirmation email is received by the administrator, even after placing one, two, or three email addresses in the field "Notification Email: Comma Separated"
=> Please make sure you enter the correct format, for example, email1@domain.com,email2@domain.com .
2) Donor receives a confirmation email from an unspecified sender - How do we make the sender name and email custom?
=> The sender name and email are the one which you setup in general configuration of Joomla. Please go to Global configuration of Joomla and change the sender name and email to your .
3) Donor receives no detail about their donation -- How do we give them a statement or receipt of their transaction with details concerning the donation amount, their name, etc.?
=> Please makes sure you have [DONATION_DETAIL] tag in thank you email message. You can also use any of the tags you want like [FIRST_NAME], [LAST_NAME]..... Please see all the tags which you can use next to the message .
4) Donor's confirmation email cuts off the text after a certain amount of characters?
=> As I replied you earlier, we can change it by changing a field in t0r4j_jd_configs table. (If you are using latest version of the extension, this error will not happens). It is an issue with a very old version of the extension .
