1st Aug 2018 - New Joom Donation version 5.4.5

The Joom Donation developer team are proud to announce the release of Joom Donation 5.4.5. This is a sixth release for the 5.4.x series of Joom Donation with new improvement and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What new in Joom Donation 5.4.5

1. Option to show Campaign details in Donation form
From Joom Donation 5.4.5, we have option to show Campaign details above the donation form (of that Campaign). Once you turn on configure option: Show Campaign Details in Donation page, the campaign information will be shown at top of donation page. 2. Show option to allow user to subscribe/not subscribe to newsletter
Acymailing plugin is included into Joom Donation 5.4.5, along with it is the checkbox "Newsletter subscriber" in Donation form. Then, donor can select to subscribe into Newsletter or not. Joom Donation also has configure option: Show Newsletter subscriber checkbox, if you select Yes,you should publish at least one JD Newsletter subscription plugin is published. If No, donors will be subscribed into Newsletter list automatically when the JD Newsletter Subscription plugin in enabled.

3. Option to add payment fee in Donation details
You can turn on configure option "Including payment fee in email" to add Payment fee into Donation amount in Donation details email.

Thanks for your continued improvements. The Newsletter plugin would be awesome if it could integrate with some third party systems like Campaign Monitor and Mailchimp. Thanks

I believe MailChimp is being added.

Can you tell me why Stripe cannot use the "pay payment gateway fee" option?

All my clients use Stripe and are asking for this as nonprofits.

Can you add this or explain why it's not possible? I have used other donation platforms that do it with Stripe so I don't think it's restricted by Stripe in any way.

Actually, if you turn enter payment fee in Joom Donation configuration, it will be added into total donation amount, and Joom Donation will pass it into Stripe payment plugin

Hello, are you going to update the Stripe Plugin to be compliant like the rest of you extensions, at least like Payment Form?

As for the processing fee, I think it needs to be shown on the page for compliance reasons. You have to alert a donor they are paying this for legal reasons. Didn't there used to be a total amount shown in older versions? Can you please add something?
