Subscriptions and Renewals From the Backend was created by David Gendron
Hi,

Thanks for your Membership Pro extension. It does most of what we need it to, without unnecessary complexity. Your support is very good.

Historically, we have offered different ways for our users to subscribe or renew :
  • from the website's frontend;
  • by mail, by sending us a cheque or credit card information;
  • by phone, giving us the credit card number.

The actual backend subscription form makes the two latter difficult and error prone since it involves many manual steps at different locations. This is mainly because there is no way to use the payment gateways from the backend to handle the transactions.

For instance, when we want to use the credit card, we have to log in and register a payment on Stripe.com (we use Stripe). We then have to create a new subscription (or renew) and then enter everything manually (prices, dates, payment method and transaction number).

It would be very nice to be able to process the transaction without leaving the subscription form, through the payment gateways.

Cheers,
David

I agree, 100% of most clients won't be ALL digital created, not initially anyway or for most 'young' subscription based model wesbites.

I take it you never heard back from Tuan on the above?
