Grace period for members

Hi is it possible to add a grace period say 60 or 90 days so users can still access there account and pay for a renewal membership within a grace period, if not then this app is no good for what we need.

Hi Philip, yes the settings can be configured to allow renewals after the expiry date is over. You can also use the Joomla Group settings to restrict or change access to content during (or after) the grace period and/or switch off renewals altogether if you wish. At the moment some of this requires some manual changes on the key dates but I am hoping the Grace Period idea will bring some improvements in the future, Tuan is constantly improving and adding features to this great component and is always willing to consider suggestions! For example we can now send up to three automated reminder emails xx days before OR after the expiry date (previously only one could be sent AFTER the expiry date). This is an example of a great recent improvement. Hope this helps, good luck

Just want to update that we now support Grace Period in the extension. You can set Grace Period config option to the value you want (For example. 7 days) and subscription will only be expired 7 days after their current expired. That mean has will have extra 7 days subscription
