Membership Pro - Group Membership

Hi Tuan,

Need some help with "Group Membership"

We have a type of Group membership that 1-5 people can join.

On the sign up form to fill out the information for membership I created a text box where they can add the 1-5 group members information. See:



Would this be the right way to handle the 1 to 5 names by doing the above?

I did activate the plugin and I did add the number of group members for the plan.

It is creating the menu link that i am not clear on.

Not sure this will work for us or not.

By creating the MENU item - does that mean we have control over this or does it mean that the group person has control for this?

Can we make it so we can control this?

How do login's and passwords work for the group members - do they have their own?

Hi Sharon

Group Membership feature still need to be improved so that administrator can add group members. Right now, only the group admin (the person who signs up for the membership) can access to the menu item to add group members

Group admin will entering the detail of members (include username and password)

I have plan to work and improve this feature. It should be completed in about 2 weeks. So maybe you should wait for the new version before start using this feature

Hi Sharon

Just go to Extensions -> Manage, install new version over old version. After that, it will work as expected

Then I asked if I would lose any of my present information I have done in membership pro.

I need to do a backup of my site before I do your new upload.

All your old data will be kept, don't worry. However, if you made any customization to the code of the extension before, it will be lost when you upgrade

So please make a backup of your site before making the update to be safe
