403 Activation Link

HI,
I am new to Membership Pro and we are "test driving" our site. When a subscriber subscribes, they receive the activation email, but when they click on the activation link, they are directed to a 403 Error page. How can I fix this or what am I missing? Thank you!

Hi Amanda

That's because you disable user registration in Joomla. Go to Users -> Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar.

After that, set Allow User Registration to Yes and the issue should be fixed
