Handling multiple Licenses was created by Christian Rieger
Hi there!

I'm new to membership pro and would like to ask if there's a possibility of creating a subscriber plan with multiple licenses with a controlling instance for each license.
For example I created a plan with 30 licenses. The subscriber orders this with email address and password. Is it possible to give each of the 30 licenses a separate serial or a special code to be used with the login b y each subscriber?

Thanks for any assistance!

Hi Christian

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported by Membership Pro. Membership Pro doesn't have any feature to generate licenses and send it to subscribers, so I think you will have to find a different solution/setup

Infact, you can write a plugin to generate and send licenses code to subscribers. But it will require some Joomla programming skill to do that

The questions are :

1. Where the system get the license codes to send to subscribers ?

2. After receiving the license code, what will subscriber do with the code?

Hi Tuan

Thanks for your quick response!
Unfortunately I don't have the programming skills to do that.
Is there a other possibility to ensure that only 30 different people login with the account for a 30 licenses subscription plan?

Thanks

Hi Christian

Sorry, it is still not very clear to me. So you want that one user sign up for a subscription plan, then add 30 other users account into his group ?

Maybe we can discuss about it directly on Skype ? My Skype nickname is tuanpnves

Hi Tuan,

the process is the following:

For example a school subscribes for a pack of 30 licenses we want to offer to meet our online math solutions. The scholl is one subscriber with one email address and one password. At the moment the school has to give each of the 30 schoolboys/schoolgirls the one and same login data.
So we are looking for a possibility to offer a 30 licenses pack in combination with 30 different additional identification keys. Just for the school and ourselves to have a better control.

I hope this epressess the matter a little more understandable.

Thanks
Christian

Hi Christian

Unfortunately, we don't have any way to control this. There is a different workaround which I am not sure it can be used

The solution is using group membership feature. The school can sign up for a subscription plan, then add 30 group members to the group (each member will have an own username and password)

Not sure if it works or not. If not, I don't think we have any solution can be used (I don't think there is a Joomla extension can handle it)

In case you cannot use the extension because it doesn't support this feature, we will be happy to refund the money of your purchase

Tuan
