OSE Membership to Membership Pro

Hi,
Our old site is running with OSE Membership (lots of members in it).
Our new site has the latest Membership Pro installed. Is there a way to take the users and their data from OSE membership and import it to Membership pro (Migrate ?) ?
any guidence would be appriciated

We don't have migration script to allow migrating data from OSE to Membership Pro. So you will need to find a way to export subscribers from OSE into a csv file.

Then use CSV import feature ( membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/subscr...t/import-subscribers ) to import these subscribers into Membership Pro

We've just done this on our site, we used an extension called SP Transfer to copy the users over from the old site. Then used OSE Membership Reporter to export the OSE members list to a csv file. Edit that csv tfile to match the Membership Pro sample.csv then import it into Membership pro. went pretty smoothly once we got the csv layout correct
We transferred around 32,000 users with SP transfer and around 400 of them were updated with the CSV method.

Thanks for that info.

I have transferred all of the users over from the old to the new site using arrausermigrate which works well but this was just for the core Joomla user list. Now I am hoping to be able to export the users and their account details, expiry dates etc from OSX Membership to Membership Pro.

I know about Reporter and keep trying to access OSE Membership website site to get it but it seems to be down a lot. I will try again today.

It is good to know that it can be done.

I could not promise but if you submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site, giving me access to OSE database, I will try to check to see whether I can write a simple script to help migrating subscribers data for you

Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have a migration script. So if you want to migrate to Membership Pro, you will have to:

- Re-create subscription plans
- Export original subscribers in OSE Membership database, then use import feature in Membership Pro to import these subscribers into the system
