Renewal not active?

I just had a couple of renewals (after 1 year subscriptions). One user paid past year and already had an account: after the login he just clicked renew and paid via paypal. However his status is "pending" and the system didn't generate an invoice (also changed membership ID to "0"). Payment was taken via paypal (I checked) but last year the system automatically recognized a successful payment and marked it "active". Do I miss a setting somewhere, hopefully you can help. Hi Justin

There are many reasons can cause the issue. For now, please:

1. Go to Membership Pro -> Payment Plugins, click on os_paypal payment plugin to edit, set Log IPN Messages parameter to Yes

2. Then try to renewal again, check the result. If it doesn't work, please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site. I am going to check the log to see why it happens and process it further
