Cron job - Expiration was created by stefano ciammarughi
I'm setting up the 'membership pro' component,
I read all the documentation but I can't understand well how a membership become expired. There is a cron job to set up? or only every time there is a website access the component do the check? I need that the membership is set to expired even if noone access to the website. There ia documentation about that or can you explain me about expiration checks?

Another question is about the reminder plugin, if is set the "secret code" the plugin is activated only if the cron have the "?secret_code=xxxxx" setted. If the code is leave empty I can set a cron job to every page or the plugin is also fired when someone visit the website correct?

Many thanks

Hi stefano

No need for cron job setup. The extension update the status of the subscription via a system plugin. So all you need to do is have "OS Membership Update Subscribers status" plugin published and all will work well
