Yes, this would also work for us. In our set up a user also only has the need for one subscription, as we work with levels ( like bronze/silver/gold ) While he/she has the abilityupgrade, only one should be active. Looking forward for this!

OK. So today, I were able to work on this feature. I added a new config option called Exclusive Plans with 3 options:

1. No (default): No additional check will be performed

2. Yes: Each user can only have active subscription of ONE PLAN only in the system at a time

3. By Category: For each category, each user can only have active subscription of ONE PLAN only in the system at time

It will be available in version 2.8.0. Do you think that will be OK for you to have the system works like that?

Maybe you need to Enable / Disable Exclusive Plans setting for each category?

This sounds great!

For us, it would be enough indeed if you could choose Exclusive Plans system wide or per category. We will use system-wide.

I could imagine that some customers want to enable this for one category but not the other, so a switch on category-level instead of global configuration: but for us, this is not the case.

Yes, this is an important feature so we can enforce mutually exclusive plans by category but not require that for every category we have.

Thanks Tuan,
I think your new setting with the 3 Options would be perfect! This way people can choose which option they want to use.

Hi!

I have uploaded version 2.8.0 and everything appears to be working well but I have one request or something that might need to be addressed...

Right now if someone already purchased a plan within a category that is exclusive and visits the plans sign up/descriptions page, the subscribe buttons don't show, only the more info... which is correct.

But if the plan they are subscribed to can be upgraded, shouldn't the subscribe button display for the plans that they can upgrade to?

Hope that made sense :)

Thanks,

Adina
