I just updated the package to your site to allow overriding javascript file. You can get this file, unzip it, upload it to folder media/com_osmembership/assets/js/validate/js , then check it to see if it is working as expected
If not, you would need to edit the file media/com_osmembership/assets/js/validate/js/override.jquery.validationEngine.lang.min.js and change it to meet your need (that's the override file I made base on your previous code)
