Custom email for plans - Row size too large error

Hi,

I am using different categories of plans for various aspects of our site and thus been editing the emails and messages for each plan. All is good until I get to the Subscription Approved Body email, which triggers an error as follows:

Error
Row size too large (> 8126). Changing some columns to TEXT or BLOB or using ROW_FORMAT=DYNAMIC or ROW_FORMAT=COMPRESSED may help. In current row format, BLOB prefix of 768 bytes is stored inline.

I'm not using a table, and am copying text from the User email body (that gets sent automatically when online payment is made and doesn't require subscription approval). I've checked the HTML code, all seems fine so I'm not sure if it is something I'm doing or an error in that particular text input area within the component.

Please login to administrator area of your site, then access to the below URLs:

domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...ip&task=fix_row_size

domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...p&task=fix_row_size2

(Replace domain.com/administrator with administrator URL of your site)

Then check it again. The issue should be sorted

I'm getting the error on the Subscription renewal user email body now as well - is there another row number to use as those two aren't doing the trick this time?

Honestly, I am unsure. For this, better submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of your site

2. Give us access to your site database via phpmyadmin so that we can check the table structure and change it if needed, then you can try again to see whether it solves the issue

I contacted my host who says there has been some security upgrade maintenance of the DBs and many sites have been experiencing problems and errors. I tried to look at the phpMyadmin, but it isn't accessible at the moment, so quite probably this server work is the cause, and I certainly hope that it will resolve by itself when they are done.

I'll let you know if I can't sort it out from this end.
