I tried updating Membership Pro today and it fails with “Failed to download package.”

I checked my download ids here and noticed that it lists the temporary sub-domain I was using while installing the new Joomla site. Could that be the problem? That sub-domain no longer exists.

Hello Seán

Just access to Downloads ID menu item on our website, generate a new Download ID

Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, enter that new Download ID into Download ID config option and it should work fine

You can use the component on any sites you want. The only limitation is that for one purchase, you will only get support from us for one site only

So if you need support for second site for example, you will need to purchase a new license
