Hiya
I am having difficulty setting up eway on membership pro
I have paypal set up
But I would like eway set up so I can do manual subscriptions when people book at shop.
When I publish eway it only has paypal on front end of website
When I unpublish paypal it says on front I need a payment gateway publish to support?
I don’t understand what I am doing wrong?

Hi Kim

The Eway payment plugin only support one time payment, not recurring payment

So you need to edit the plan, set Recurring Subscription parameter to No, then check it again. It should address the issue

ok- that worked
I can then manually create a recurring payment within eway
however- how does that work for the membership pro??
for example
I have a wine club
you sign up for 3 shipments per year
If you want to have payment happens every 4 months, you can setup a plan with the following parameters:

1. Subscription Length: 4 Months

2. Recurring Subscription: Yes

3. Price: The payment amount users have to pay every 4 months

Please try to setup a plan like that, then check it again and let us know if it works
will that still work with a eway payment? which I will have auto created as a recurring payment within eway?

Hello

No, it won't work as the Eway payment plugin does not support recurring payment

If you need recurring payments like that, you will have to use one of the payment plugins which support recurring payment:

1. PayPal

2. Authorize.net

3. PayPal Pro

4. Stripe

5. Mollie

For your country, I think you can try to use PayPal or Stripe, they are most popular payment gateways
