Support for Japanese language for edocman was created by Carlos Villasenor
I have a Japanese client who needs to index Japanese text in pdf files. Edocman supports Japanese text indexing for search?

Hi Carlos,
Edocman doesn't have Japanese language package. But it has Translation tool at Back-end of component, it allows you to translate text of Edocman system from English to different languages.

The interface does not matter much to me, but I want to know if it is possible to index Japanese text to search documents. In other words, Japanese text on PDF documents. It's possible?

The PDF Indexer function of Edocman can be used to index Japanese PDF files
