Barcode

We are looking at getting the membership pro , events and booking modules and we would like to no if say on event tickets or membership cards we can print a barcode for the member so that at an event or other bookings the if membership card can be scanned for the barcode and thus bring up the correct user details.

I am guessing that I would need to add that asn extra membership field , but can it be printed on the membership card as part of the layout

1. We only support QRCODE in the extensions, not barcode

2. I still don't understand exactly what you need. Could you please explain more details about it ?

we want to print a members id number on a barcode and print it onto the members Card that they can download and print. Then using a barcode scanner when member attends an event or appointment booking we can scan the member card for the id as it will be printed as a barcode. Probably I would need to customise the back-end for the member card layout PHP code to use a barcode printing function .

THE SOLUTION IS TO INSTALL THE MPDF ADD-ON

The MPDF add-on supports the printing of BARCODES so I can install the add-on and thus print the barcodes I need

Great. Could you share how you insert the barcode ? I imagine it would need some custom coding (not having experience with barcode)
