Membership Pro - allow a number of free articles

I am looking to have a subscription system on my website that allows visitors to view a certain number of articles for free before being asked to pay.  A "leaky paywall" like many news sites have.  Is this possible with Membership Pro?

Membership Pro does not allow that. However, maybe you can use a workaround :

1. Create a Free Subscription Plan to allow users to sign up

2. In that free plan, configure the system to allow users to view the articles you want

The other option is just allow free users/visitors to view part of the article. If they want to read full article, they will have to pay to become paid subscribers
