Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.9.3 with the following great improvements:
1. Compatible with Joomla 5.1.0.
There were some changes in Joomla 5.1.0 which breaks some of payment plugins. We had to update our payment processing library to make sure payment process working well with Joomla 5.1.0 (and earlier Joomla versions). This is the most important change in this release.
2. Performance Improvement.
- Add indexes to database tables to make EShop works faster.
- Continuing to improve source code to make it easier to maintain and supporting override in the future release.
- Optimize to reduce number of SQL queries to make EShop pages tobe loaded much faster.
3. Some small improvements.
- Search by product SKU using Joomla Smart Search
- Stripe HTML tag for comment field when exporting orders
So please upgrade EShop to the latest version 3.9.3 to have these new improvements.
