Thank you Peter. I have installed the Advanced Module Manager. Im testing it for this issue, but without success. How can i make difference between category list page and product page? I dont have menu items for each product, i only have menu items for categories. Peter, which is your suggestion, which method should i use from between the Advanced Module Manager displaying methods?

techer, that could be one option to do that, but unfortunately i have 3000-4000 products, so in this case i should enter all the product names into Module Manager. (And!) In long term, this method could give me a lot of issues when im removing or adding new products. I downloaded the Module Manager, but i could not find a solution between the displaying methods to make difference between the category list page and the product page. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Hi Andra,
just to be sure: We are talking about this:
joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/desktops/samsung-hdtv-monitor.html
And then the "Shop by catgeories" and "Featured Products" modules? Or am I making a mistake?

Regards, Peter

For example:

This is the category list page:
joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/cameras/digital-cameras.html

This is the product page:
joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/cameras/digit...s-digital-rebel.html

What i want: For example the "Shop by categories" module to be displayed only on the product page and not on the category list page.

What i want exactly its like how is in the Fashion Pro template:

Category list page looks like this:
eshoptemplates.com/fashionpro/men.html

Product page looks like this:
eshoptemplates.com/fashionpro/men/men-s-...easy-iron-shirt.html

I bought this template, but after installing i have seen that all the products are added to the menu as menu items. So like that is possible to assign modules to one product page and different to category page.

Hi,

it seems to work, but then again, it is a lot of work, depending on the number of categories and subcategories you have
Example is my testwebsite: www.gadgetjunkie.nl/diversen
Please click on the green button: The text says there could be typo's or price mistakes on the website.
When you see the page, you see the "Categorieen" on the left.
Next, select the two left products, you will still see the "Categorieen".
When you click on the third product the "Categorieen" is not there.
I have done this with the advanced module manager.

Is this what you want?

Andras the solution for your example is:

Advanced Module Manager
URL > Include
/digital-cameras/

The final slash is the key. That is the char in the URL discerning category page (presence) and product page (absence).

Does it help?

Hi,

That is indeed the solution.
You can also use after the slash something like articles/[a-f]
This will show only the module on the pages with articles starting with letter from a till f.

Good example! You should enable "Use Regular Expressions" option to do so, right?

Yes, you are right!

Sorry it is in Dutch, but you can still compare the settings.
