"Remind Me To Register" Button

I would love a feature that works like the waitlist, but instead of engaging when the event is full, it would be available before the event is taking registrations.

-I set up an event
-Registration opens in 3 weeks as we need time to finalize the event
-Event is listed on front end, but not taking registrations
-A "Remind Me To Register" button is shown that collects user information
-When event date opens, everyone on the list is notified.

Just seeing if anyone else would be interested in this feature.

I can see users wanting to get notified when registration opens so they can secure their tickets for the event.

What about before the cut off date

I'd like to see this implemented.

That's a great idea. .
We currently have a txt a code to a number to get "it's open" or a 3rd party off site signup link right now to accomplish this.
But having it built in seems logical improvement and I know our setup would use it.

We set dates up to 18 months in advance, but often have to wait on pricing from venues before we open for registration. People travel long distances and by plane to our venues so we have "Save the Dates" up a long time. I even plan my stuff out 18-24 months in advance.
