EB deposit reminder

Hi,

I am not sure but I think deposit/payment reminder plugin in EB does not work properly. Option "Number of days" before event is not respected. Plugin just send out mails randomly.

Any ideas? Anyone else having problems?

It should respect Number of days parameter value. How do you know that email is sent randomly?

It was triggered before it should be. I have event for 21.9. "Number of days" is set to 7 and system already sending payment remainder mails out.

I don't know how it happens. Do you know how I can see the issue myself?

And do you have a dev version of the site setup somewhere? Maybe the email is sent from that dev site (with wrong event date)?

It is certainly not from dev environment because I have it offline, and I did use different email. I discover the issue when I got replay to reminder mail from one of my registrant. She did pay and I did not immediately mark her as payed. Of-course she was upset because she already payed, but reminder mail should not be send to her jet.

"Number of days" is considered number of day till the event? Not number of days after register?

I think that solve problem for me.

It's not related.

1. Deposit payment reminder will send email to registrants who choose deposit payment for their registration so that they can know and make remainder payment for the registration

2. Offline payment handle plugin (in the other topic) will send reminder emails to registrants who use offline payment to remind them to actual make payment for the registration.

So as you can see, it's different thing and use for different purpose

Number of days (before event date) registrants will receive deposit payment reminder

So it is number of days before event date
