Hi Tuan, I just submitted the ticket - ID 167.

Tuan in addition to my support ticket issue is it possible for you to setup the files so that they don't overwrite the translation file when upgrading? I have to copy and paste fields from scratch after every upgrade.

I fixed the issue mentioned in the ticket . It was my typing mistake, sorry about that .

To keep language file when install new version, you need to back up it first (the language file is located at language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jdonation.ini ) .

After install new version, you need to check the new language files to see whether any new language string added . Then add these new language string into your language file and re-upload it to your server .

Tuan I hope you can get back to me as soon as possible. Client is going to get lots of activity this upcoming weekend and all through next week. I hope we can clear it up ASAP.


In addition I think it would be a good idea to have an option for daily summary emails. Meaning on a daily basis depending on setting set by admin say 3 pm all transactions along with the fields completed get emailed to designated email address.

Having summaries in backend would be nice. Like today's transactions etc. Similar to paypal.com. The hardest thing we found in managing donations using this script is trying to keep up with donations and trying o figure out who donated today, yesterday etc. So paypal model would be great.

The problem is that you are using wrong custom field name in the email . Instead of using [JD_CUSTOM_PARTICIPATION]
, you put [CUSTOM_PARTICIPATION] (you forgot JD_ prefix) . Please modify the name of custom field, after that It will work as expected .

Regarding the daily basic email, I will think about it and implement it in the next version of Joom Donation .

Tuan it would be very helpful if you can figure out this issue. We are still having the same problem.

I figured out that eliminating the word CUSTOM fixed the problem.
