Steve

I had the same problem with delays - it looks like it was a PayPal issue a few days ago. I assume you were using a sandbox account?

I am also using Artisteer and had the same problem - Tuan and his team were able to fix the CSS formatting with some overrides.

Thanks Alan - yes I was using the Sandbox, the live site is working fine now.

Regarding the CSS overrides - I've seen this overrides approach before - what I'd really like (as well as a fix :P ) is an explanation of why Artisteer causes this problem with add-ons. I see there is an option in Artisteer to add custom CSS in the template export option and other vendors (eg Easy Profile) have given me overrides to add here. Rather than fix each new component with snippets of CSS I'd like to explore a more global solution.

I am experiencing something similar.

After the admin sets their subscription to 'Active', and then when the activation link in the email is clicked, it leads to an Error 403 message.

Options:
Only create user account when membership active/approved: Yes
Send activation email: yes
Auto login: no

In the backend, User Manager: the new subscriber's account is not activated/enabled because they can't activate it.

Not sure where to take it from here.

Hi

I think it happens because user registration is disabled in Joomla core com_users component

Go to Users -> Manager, click on Options button in the Toolbar, make sure you set Allow User Registration parameter to Yes

After that, check it again. The issue should be sorted

Tuan

Yes...that did the trick. But how can this be controlled from spam bots? I know that if you have the Joomla User Registration allowed, spambots tend to take advantage of this.

To avoid spam bots, I think right now, the only option would be setup and enable captcha on your site
