Thanks for the response. Yes, I checked the configuration file and it reads: public $live_site = '';

Is this correct? Is there anything else I can try?

The other item which you should check is checking to see whether cache is enabled on your site or not. If cache is enabled, then this feature won't work !

Cache is now off and Session Lifetime is set to "30" - Hopefully this fixes the problem. I will provide an update after some more customers have used the site.
